Non-Specific - 7

I was taking pictures of the lake midmorning, but I couldn’t get a good photograph. I was incredibly frustrated that I couldn’t capture it’s beauty, there were boat zooming across it, making noise, and their wakes making the water form into large waves that always broke my pictures, like a crack running through them.

But then I remembered how I had been in the forest and tried to see across the lake when I had the beauty of the trees. So I lifted my camera to the sky and saw a tree. I had expected to photograph the sky, it’s beauty, just because it was there. But here was a tree in my way. I had ignored this tree and looked elsewhere in the sky. But I suddenly realized what I was missing. So I turned to the tree as I was before and I photographed it. And a man, Don, the director of the camp I was at said to me “beautiful isn’t it? The tree.”
